Video Musik Populer Leon Leiden
Biografi Artis
Though kicking off his career as a house producer, multi-faceted Mexican musician Leon Leiden made his mark in the Latin pop sphere in the early 2020s, getting tens of millions of views with singles like "Gitana" and "Fondo de Bikini."
Beginning his career as a house-oriented DJ and producer, Leon Leiden entered the EDM world with fast-paced electro house singles "Obelisk" and "Lynx" before building his profile with remixes for Faul, Wad Ad, and Merk & Kremot. Through the mid- to late 2010s, the young producer collaborated with artists like Chris Linton and ATL, as his pounding, electronic sound gradually shifted toward the breezier dance fusions of contemporaries like ODESZA. By 2020, Leiden had developed his vocal and instrumental talents; he turned this varied skill set toward the sounds of Latin pop, racking up tens of millions of streams with early tracks like the downtempo "Gitana." Having built a substantial following on social media platforms, the young musician launched his label Laila Records (in collaboration with Warner Music Mexico and Vago) in 2020, before securing further Latin pop success with "Manzana" and "Fondo de Bikini." In 2021, Leiden released his debut album, El Morro Que Hace Música. Comprising some of Leiden's social media content, the project fused a varied set of genres into his airy pop template. ~ David Crone
