Produced for TV Catalunya and on the air since September 2003, children's television show Los Lunnis, like Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, is well known for its high-quality content and production values, both educating and entertaining its young audience. The show's puppet characters are extraterrestrial inhabitants of a world called Luna Lunera, and include a host of colorful protagonists and bizarre villains. As the show's characters confront and resolve the problems that young people experience, they promote values of respectful coexistence and tolerance. With an audience of kids all over the Spanish-speaking world, Los Lunnis has released a number of albums, starting with Despierta Ya!
