In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My music originated from poetry back in High School from 2004 to 2008. I had an extreme diverse genre taste but R&B really sent me into a vibe for writing. Later in 2008 I started using the art for rapping, which is where I discovered my new skill.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (Bonus Track Version) Eminem, The Eminem Show (Expanded Edition) Various Artists, 8 Mile (Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture (Expanded Edition)) It seems very cliché to add these as my all time favorites but honestly they describe my trials and tribulations to the max. High School was a struggle educationally, struggled to find jobs and moved away; inevitably starting my darkest time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Grind” This song is really where I found who I was in music. I had Mental Health Issues dealing with a severe ADHD Diagnosis, grandmother and grandfather passing away, to include a serious injury to my bicep that occured in my present job in the U.S Army.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to beat the learning curve of the process. I do everything from rapping, mixing, producing and promoting. The sudden click of understanding how to create music was absolutely therapeutic for me especially at the time it hit.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My next big project is to finally get an album completed. I'll just say i'm very close to making that a reality. It will definitely be one for the books and a huge closure to what I once was and who I am now.
