In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I owe the reason I am a musician today to my Uncle, Rafael Cepeda-Atiles. He was my mom's brother and he is the "patriarch" of Bomba & Plena music in Puerto Rico. Since I was 5 years old, he taught me how to play the drums and how to write poetry.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gilberto Santa Rosa, Oro Salsero: Gilberto Santa Rosa Tito Puente, Tito Puente: The Complete RCA Recordings, Vol. 1 Tito Rodríguez, The Best of Tito Rodriguez, Vol. 2 Tito Puente and Tito Rodriguez have been my idols since my early days performing the Timbales. I had the pleasure of recording music with the sound engineer of Gilberto Santa Rosa and he made my music sound just as good as Gilberto's.
