In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From a very early age, I vividly remember seeing my grandpa play guitar. He was just playing Eagles licks and acoustic intros from Eric Clapton and Led Zeppelin, but to me he was what I aspired to be! He made me want to play guitar and enjoy music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Parachutes The Backseat Lovers, When We Were Friends The Flaming Lips, American Head I chose these albums because they are milestones in my steps to becoming a musician and a songwriter. I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to them. These records keep me excited and anticipating what's to come in my life!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Song About Waiting” This song is the most personal. It's about finding love and deep joy for God! Cohen and I while writing this realized that God put family and friends in our lives and on this record so that He can call us closer to Him! This song is vertical worship.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my career so far has been being able to get in a studio and record my debut EP with my close friends! It was an incredible experience and I had such a blast making it and getting to eventually share the final project!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's probably a pipe dream but getting to play Austin City Limits, Coachella, and Madison Square Garden are probably on my bucket list.
