Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw Charlie Hunter open for John Scofield at the University of Hartford in 1998. Scofield's band was John Medeski, Chris Wood, and Clyde Stubblefield. It was amazing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, New Amerykah, Pt. 1 (4th World War) Soul Coughing, El Oso The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) All 3 of these albums have a characteristic sound that no other records sounds like. The songs work together as a whole and take you on a journey, and they're a joy to listen to from start to finish.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Hat Kind” The song chronicles the nomadic lifestyle of my younger days and my need as a creative person to push back against a nine-to-five existence. The title comes from the chorus: “The only home that I’ve ever had is the layin’ my hat kind."
