An actress of Russian descent, Olesya Rulin is best known for a starring role in the hit Disney series of High School Musical films. Introduced to the business upon winning a modeling competition at the age of 12, Rulin soon found herself wrapped up in the Disney hitmaking machine, with the role of Kelsi Nielsen in the immensely successful High School Musical movies taking precedence. Her next big breaks came when she landed roles opposite Jessica Simpson (in the film Major Movie Star) and Billy Ray Cyrus (in the drama Flying By). ~ Chris True
