Liverpool-based singer/songwriter Liam Brown (aka Pizzagirl) keeps the vibe mellow while mining inspiration from '80s and '90s soft rock.
Armed with just a guitar, his voice, and a laptop, Pizzagirl made a reputation for himself in Liverpool's gig scene for his Mac DeMarco-inspired songwriting, although he pulls in elements of vaporwave to differentiate himself. In the mid-2010s he singed to Heist or Hit, going on to release two EPs in 2018, An Extended Play and Season 2. When it came to recording his debut album, 2019's First Timer, he drafted other musicians into the fold, transforming his live show in the process. ~ Liam Martin
