In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The first song I remember hearing was Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars. It was late 2012, the song was brand new, and I was only 5 then. I was sitting in the living room late at night, and the song came on a Music Choice channel on TV. Good song.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
AJR, Neotheater
Fall Out Boy, Infinity On High
Lemon Demon, Spirit Phone
There are a lot of albums that are good, but then there's a dud track in the B-side that you want to skip over when it comes on. These albums are exceptions to me, absent of any dull moments. If I have an hour to spare, I go to these first.

“Friction”
Friction helped shape ɾ as an album, it being the first song made for it. Shortly after Koopa in January 2022, I made this and released it in March as a single. The instrument, melodies, and length inspired me the next year for adjacent songs.
