Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Blaine/Guitarist – Driving with my dad listening to 94.7, I heard “Tonight, Tonight” by Smashing Pumpkins. I was hooked. I asked my mom to buy me the CD—that was my first real album. I was about seven.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Codefendants, This is Crime Wave Mercy Music, Nothing in the Dark Smoke or Fire, The Speakeasy Blaine/Guitarist – I picked Mercy Music, Smoke or Fire, and Codefendants. All three write killer songs and have been in heavy rotation for me lately. I could name bands all day, but these are the ones I’ve been stuck on recently.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Woe Is Me” Blaine/Guitar- “Woe Is Me” is my only single up so far. I’ve played second guitar for years & written parts I’m proud of, but I never liked my voice. Now I’m finally having fun with it, enjoying the songs I’m writing, and not overthinking it anymore.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Blaine/Guitar – Playing Revolution Hall was huge. I’ve played with idols, but those were old bands. Pretty Deadly is new—filming and recording “Woe Is Me” was effortless and fun. Can’t wait to update this answer in a few years.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Blaine/Guitar – I’ve hit all my original goals—learned guitar, wrote songs, started a band, toured, even made a sticker. The bucket list keeps growing, but I’m proud of what I’ve done and just want to keep creating and setting new goals.
