In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 5 or 6 years old I liked to ride in the car with my dad because we always listened to his cassettes from the eighties. That is the oldest and at the same time the most present memory I have when I think of music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cocteau Twins, Head Over Heels Remastered Killing Joke, Brighter Than a Thousand Suns (Restored Mixes Version) The Cure, Pornography They are simply my musical triad. I find a very strong connection between the ethereal atmospheres created by each of these albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ritos y Vocablos” Ritos y Vocablos is one of my favorite tracks on Prismatic Shapes because it has a very personal meaning. The song focuses on the history of my grandparents and the Mexican gypsy community. Plus the Hungarian scale we use gives it a cool touch.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far the best memory I have is being one of the artists who closed the Rock al Rio Festival in Colombia. Playing on a big stage for so many people in another country is a shot of adrenaline, even when I remember it, it was a great experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too many things to do, this is just the beginning of a long journey on the road of music.
