An arena-ready American hard rock band with an impressive pop/rock pedigree, Rated X was formed around the considerable talents of iconic vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), guitar player Karl Cochran (Ace Frehley), and the seasoned ex-Blue Murder rhythm section (bass player Tony Franklin (the Firm, Whitesnake), and drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Ozzy Osbourne). Specializing in vintage, stadium-ready classic rock with an affable bar band center, Rated X began laying down demos in 2013, and issued their eponymous debut album via Frontiers Records the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger
