Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I ever played piano. Our family piano was in an open space of our farmhouse, big windows letting in all the light. I was taught a song, & I remember it just clicked, I could repeat it back right away. My fingers knew better than I did.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Busoni: Chaconne in D Minor (After Bach) - Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 3 [Live] Christine and the Queens, PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE Herbert von Karajan, Stanislaw Wislocki, Sviatoslav Richter, Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, Wiener Symphoniker, Rachmaninov: Piano Concerto No. 2 & Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 This recording of the Bach-Busoni Chaconne in D minor is my favourite performance. The concerto is the whole universe, if I had to choose a favourite piece of music, this would be it. The story telling, the voice, the heart, power, love, soul.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A show on a beautiful piano in a converted church on Crete, with cicadas buzzing outside. Later, a few of us swam in the sea under the stars, surrounded by phosphorescent plankton. A moment of realising music doesn’t always need a concert hall.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! The list keeps growing — I think that’s part of the joy of it.
