Shavo Odadjian is an Armenian-American musician, DJ, producer, director, painter, and human rights activist best known as the bassist and co-founder of the Grammy Award-winning rock band System of a Down. When the group went on hiatus in 2006, he became an in-demand DJ, producer, and director, teaming up with Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA on a heavy hip-hop project called AcHoZeN. In 2019, Odadjian started a new band, North Kingsley, and in 2022, he released the stand-alone solo single "Reppin the City (LAFC)."
