Putting a hooky noise pop spin on 1980s and '90s influences ranging from My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth to Sebadoh and Daniel Johnston, Sindy is the project of Swedish singer/songwriter Tom Serner. For another '90s touchpoint, his intimate, breathy delivery can be reminiscent of Elliott Smith. Sindy's full-length debut, Horror Head, saw release in 2021.
