In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember writing my first song in the 4th grade about Halloween in our house in New Jersey. There were quite a few “Spooky”s and “Scary”s in there. It was written on a little flash card that I couldn’t wait to perform for my mom when she got home.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ariana Grande, Sweetener Beyoncé, RENAISSANCE Rihanna, Loud (Deluxe) I loved RENAISSANCE because it highlighted underground ballroom culture and increased widespread acceptance of queer people. Loud was an incredible era; every song on the album is iconic. Sweetener was such a smooth listen; the songs are relatable.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was when I performed at the SpelHouse (Morehouse College & Spelman College) Homecoming Talent Show.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I plan on touring in the future, so that is definitely still on my bucket list!
