Debuted in 2022, the Soulbysel label was first used by SEL to issue SOULBYSEL Compilation 01, a ten-track LP featuring some of their most prolific artists. This first venture was primarily comprised of breathy pop/R&B sounds from the likes of SUMIN, oceanfromtheblue, and Horim, with Summer Soul and Austn adding some alternative styles toward the project's close. Two further volumes surfaced in 2022, SOULBYSEL Compilation 02 and Compilation 03: the former offered forays into funk, hip-hop, and trap, while the latter experimented with electronic sounds and boasted an appearance from Monsta X's I.M.
