A Los Angeles formed and based group, the Blood Arm -- Nathaniel Fregoso (vocals), Zebastian Carlisle (guitar), Dyan Valdès (piano and bass), Zachary Amos (drums), and Ben Lee Handler (master of ceremonies) -- first came together in 2003. The Blood Arm released their first album, Bomb Romantics, in 2004, and made an even deeper impression with their support appearances for Franz Ferdinand, Killers, Hot Hot Heat, and Spoon, as well as scoring the "Best Live Act" award at the 2005 South by Southwest Music Conference. The band singed with City Rockers, and released their follow-up, Lie Lover Lie, in 2006. ~ Chris True
