Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember mounting the stage with my cousin Chris Graham and singing with our grandmother Marion Williams at the JFK Center in New York City
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BJ the Chicago Kid, In My Mind Me’Kayla, Give Me You - Single Tamela Mann, Live Breathe Fight I had the honor of writing 2 of the 3 albums. It was a pleasure penning both Tamela and Me’Kayla’s music. I believe they both speak to our desires and challenges. BJ just gets my blood going. It’s an undeniable nonstop vibe from beginning to end.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Greater (Live)” I wrote the song at a time in my life where I felt hopeless and I needed to remember who I was. It was my affirmation song!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most memorable moments in my career was seeing the Billboard article that said “Working For Me” a song I wrote for Tamela Mann was #1 and it had broken the tie between her and Kirk Franklin.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to hear my name mentioned on the stage of a major award show, any major award show. I want to collect my award.
