Biografi Artis
b. Donovan Whycliffe, England. Born into a music-loving family of 12, his parents encouraged him to sing in the Pentecostal choirs in his youth. Whycliffe’s name was first mooted when he handed over a demo tape to Tim Andrews of Nottingham’s Submission Records. The ensuing buzz ensured that the A&R men flocked to his door, and he eventually signed to MCA Records. He scored a hit in 1991 with ‘Roughside’, backed by an album. He returned in 1993 with the single, ‘Heaven’, and a new long playing set the following year. Remix guidance was offered by Tim Simenon (Bomb The Bass) and C.J. Mackintosh. The producers on his second album, Journeys Of The Mind, were Chris Porter (famed for his work with George Michael) and Simenon.
