Wednesday morning I'm tryna fight my way out of bed

wondering if they gonna notice my absence

the only thing I pray for, God is just one day of silence

then cover under the covers

today I could not be bothered

on Wednesday morning I'm planning how to escape

wondering if they're gonna buy my excuses

I try to get up but my body refuses

slow and steady wins the race

the only time I'm running is late

it's been a long weekend

I'm counting minutes to the weekend

just staring at the ceiling

I’m trying to pass the time

cause I'm looking for a meaning

I wish I could escape my daily routine

I need a vacation but my balance say just other things

maybe I call in sick

say I'm sick and tired of emails and meetings

then put my phone on the side

sometimes I feel like I only live to pay the rent

as if it wasn't enough it got increased by 7%

2024 is way too expensive goddamn
