On no fewer than five of these traditional country tunes, Chris Young uses his husky croon to explore heartbreak like never before. He’s introspective and fiery as he tackles lonesome nights on “Sober Saturday Night” (with a stunning Vince Gill backing him up), an on-again/off-again relationship on the title track, and post-breakup disorientation on “Think of You” (where he’s equally matched by Cassadee Pope’s crystalline voice). But there’s hope for him yet: he closes things on a high note with the gentle, folk-tinged proposition “What If I Stay."
