Murcof & Vanessa Wagner
Statea
Album · Classical Crossover · 2016 · InFiné
A stunning ode to balance and synergy, Statea sees the partnership of two magnificent sculptors of sound. The imaginative orchestrations they produce are a fresh blast of creativity and imagination; Aphex Twin’s “Avril 14th” receives a loving update complete with synth swells, glitchy pulses, and, of course, glassy piano.
