3 finds Netsky pushing his festival-ready combination of pop and drum ’n’ bass to thrilling new heights. While he conjures a weather system of airborne synths and dizzying rhythms for Emeli Sandé’s epic vocal turn on “Thunder,” he favors stuttering, high-gloss funk on “TNT,” a handclap-enriched highlight that features an impressive performance by Chromeo’s Dave 1.
