For his debut album 22, Nigerian singer Kunmie widens the emotional stakes of breakout hit “Arike.” Across the project’s guitar-led confessionals, choral arrangements, and layered voices, the singer wields a reverence for human connection in the face of self-doubt, self-sabotage, and spiritual crisis.
