I remember my mom gave me a drum set with a microphone on Christmas. I remember that being a moment where I realized how much I loved music and words.

I wrote this song from a real place and it remains my favorite record of mine. I love the depth of the lyrics and the longing that's vocalized. I think people can relate to the delusion of wanting a relationship that won't work.
