44phantom is the performing moniker of Oklahoma-born artist Brayton Matthews, who traffics in an emotionally turbulent blend of alternative rock, indie pop, and post-grunge. He found mainstream favor in 2019 with the streaming hit "Break Your Heart" and capitalized on that success in 2021 with the Machine Gun Kelly collaboration "Don't Sleep Repeat." His debut long-player, All My Bad Feelings, arrived in 2023.
