In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mum introduced me to music. We had a tape deck on which she played an artist a lot! I never understood why, but still had to listen to them, while drawn to Hindi film music. These are my 2 earliest influences - Movies & the artist, Farida Khanum.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alok Ranjan Srivastava, Siddharth Pandit, Azaad Sangeet: Season 3 Radiohead, Kid A Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is my time capsule. Kid A introduced me to a new genre in which I always discover a new layer. Azaad Sangeet released when I had started writing music. This album is a reminder to me that it's okay to start afresh. It's also fresh!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Kaise” Kaise is the first song where I discovered my sound & one of my sonic spaces. It was inspired both from my life & a piece of flash fiction by a friend which made it a very unique writing experience. Oh, I also made it in 2 weeks! It got so much love!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For me, the most memorable moments are when I am able to move my audience emotionally through my music. Audience have cried to Kaise, Jhoola. People in the audience have sang back chorus of my songs such as Chakka Ghoom, Sarphire! It’s these moments.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’ve barely started. Such a long distance to cover. I want to perform my songs to an auditorium full of at least 1000 people some day with a full band! It’d be great to have growing streaming numbers. I want my songs to find sync in movies. So many!
