Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory takes me back to Liberia in 2012. As a child, my mom encouraged me to sing at our church. Nervous and shy, I led worship for the Sunday service. It was my first experience of music connecting me to something greater.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Angel Dweh, I Am Angel Dweh Diamond Platnumz, First Of All Yemi Alade, Black Magic (Deluxe Version) "My debut EP, 'I Am Angel Dweh,' marks a key moment in my unique sound. The albums 'Black Magic (Deluxe Version)' by Yemi Alade and 'First of All' by Diamond Platnumz are significant inspirations for me."
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mokofee” "Mokofee" is a meaningful song for me as it combines the Afrobeats rhythms I love with lyrics in Liberia's Kolokwa English, reflecting my cultural roots.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Meeting Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Leslie Brathwaite at Full Sail University was a major highlight for me as an artist. Speaking with him was incredibly inspiring, motivating me to push the boundaries of my music and artistry further.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have many goals on my bucket list, but my biggest dream as an indie artist is to headline a world tour, perform on award stages, and inspire others beyond the borders of Liberia and throughout Africa.
