Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started playing the keyboard at the age of 10 under the guidance of my mother. At 13, I started playing at the Methodist church every Sunday. After watching my cousin Georgin Rushanthan’s guitar performance, I became fascinated with the instrument.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alan Jackson, Precious Memories Jim Reeves, Jim Reeves: Greatest Hits Kenny Rogers, The Love Of God (Deluxe Edition) My father introduced me to Jim Reeves's songs which made me a country music lover so I got to know Alan Jackson and Kenny Rogers and thereafter whenever I had a chance to play the songs, I started intentionally adding dominant 7th.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rise above the Ashes” I made this music so that all my fellow Sri Lankans should be united no matter what happens to our nation. The best of all is that God is with us.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While studying at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, I got the opportunity to play Guitars and Piano for the faculty orchestra, such as Sisi Arundathee 2019 and Sathsara Dahena 2020.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I believe that God has entrusted me with this gift for a purpose. I firmly believe that He uses my talents exclusively to glorify the Lord as a weapon in my music and worship ministries.
