Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was little, my dad used to play Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys on the way to the Jersey Shore. It was always one of my favorite albums and decades later, I can almost smell saltwater every time I listen.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Stay With Me” I wrote this song to sound like a first dance at a wedding—but for someone marrying anxiety. When you decided to commit to a lifetime with someone, you also commit to their issues. For many of us, that means dealing with a mental illness.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Singing with Weezer at the Alternative Press Music Awards was a real full-circle moment for me. The first song I learned how to play on guitar was "Butterfly" from 'Pinkerton!'
