Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When Sol (our mandolin player) was 6 years old, he first attended the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. After a weekend of watching legends on the main stage, providence or fate led him to play three of his own songs to a crowd of 10,000 with his dad.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gillian Welch, Time (The Revelator) Joni Mitchell, Court and Spark Punch Brothers, The Phosphorescent Blues Each of these albums combine lyrical themes and music in a way that creates a whole more than the sum of their parts. The production is top notch, but it's the songwriting and the word painting each band do with their instruments that capture us.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Dream Journal” "Dream Journal" was the first song that made us stop in our tracks and say "we need to form a band". It's about the decision to not pursue law school and instead follow a passion for music, and from the first note, we knew we had something special.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating our debut album at Austin's fabled Arlyn Studios was an incredible opportunity. Spurred on by the skills of a Grammy-winning engineer, we got to create music like never before and push the boundaries of our creativity.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We'll be traveling to Colorado this summer to compete in the legendary band contest at the equally storied Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Playing on that stage, no matter the outcome, will feel like a dream come true.
