Berlin-based producer Mechatok has a delicate, atmospheric sound drawing from ambient, trance, and cloud rap. A member of the Stockholm-based Staycore collective, he earned acclaim for early EPs such as 2016's See Thru, then gained wider recognition when he began producing for Drain Gang affiliates like Bladee and Ecco2k. Mechatok's video game soundtrack Defective Holiday and Bladee collaboration Good Luck both appeared in 2020. "Addiction," one of Mechatok's most club-friendly productions, was issued in 2025.
