Chi è Born a Ghost
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My earliest musical memory was having family music nights. My mom would play guitar, my dad would sing, and I would have relatives fill in other musical roles. It was fun and special to my growth as a musician.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Cult of Luna, Vertikal
Neurosis, Times of Grace
Suffocation, Suffocation
I love the brutality of Suffocation’s self titled album. It hits heavy and hard. The other two albums are musical masterpieces that take you on a journey when you listen with your eyes closed. There were so many other albums to choose from.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Stairway To an Empty Room”
This song was written in a very dark time of my life. I close family member was struggling with depression and it was hitting me hard. It worried me that they would follow a tragic family path.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Prior to Born A Ghost, another heavy band I was in was playing a show in Spokane in the early 00s. The audience went nuts and set the trash cans on fire. It was a surreal experience because we thought the place was gonna go up in flames!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
The next thing on our bucket list as a band is to do a rock opera. We want to have a fully animated and produced, multi media experience for our friends and fans to immerse themselves in.
