In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
We met in West Africa, and using an old keyboard, and a guitar we ordered off of an Ivorian delivery service, we started writing music in our apartment. Yakouba songs about horses, and jazz remakes of religious hymns were the inception of our music.

“Normal People”
This song came to life as we were messing around with guitar arpeggios. We instantly knew it was going to be wonderful. After plugging in some hyper-detailed lyrics about real dates we've been on, and producing it all in our room, we had done it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We are working on a concept album that started several years ago. It has been a long time coming, as our songwriting and producing skills have taken a long time to cultivate. But in a year, we will have finished a project we are all proud of.
