In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is a small toy music box I had as a child. I remember pressing play and feeling like those simple sounds could create a whole world in my head. It was probably the first time music felt magical to me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BSK, Erminda Korn, Korn Nirvana, MTV Unplugged In New York (Live Acoustic) Korn shaped me because they’re my favourite band. Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged in New York is, to me, the greatest live album ever. Erminda is my most mature work, made with love and dedicated to my late grandmother.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Crazy On Drugs [feat. Kikaz] (Radio Edit)” I chose “Crazy on Drugs,” sung by Kikaz. We made everything in a very raw, amateur way, from the studio to the music video, but it reached several countries. It was my first single and the beginning of everything.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was my first live show in 2006. The bar was packed, the speakers fell, and even with half the sound gone, nobody stopped dancing. That night I felt I belonged there.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One day I’d love to make an electronic track with Jonathan Davis and Fred Durst together, something so strange and heavy that people could mosh and dance at the same time. That would be a dream.
