Buzzy Lee's quirky adult alternative pop songs mix intimate reflection with ethereal melodies and quiet experimentalism. Buzzy Lee serves as a music alias for actress Sasha Spielberg, who had over a dozen film appearances to her credit as well as a handful of recordings under her given name before making her Buzzy Lee debut with the Facepaint EP in 2018. After following up with her debut album, Spoiled Love, in 2021, she reached her broadest audience yet with a featured spot on rapper Denzel Curry's 2022 single "John Wayne," which garnered millions of streams by year's end. Lee's second album, 2023's Internal Affairs, remained loyal to her off-center approach.
