Chi è D Jay
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories was recording my first song, “Bo Norr,” while I was still in high school. Hearing my voice on the speakers after we finished the track was exciting and surreal. That moment made me realize music was truly my path.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Morning Stress”
I chose “Morning Stress” because it’s a fun reflection of love, relationships, and the little drama that comes with them. It’s playful, honest, and reminds me that sometimes all we really want is peace and love.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of the most memorable moments in my career was watching “Balance It” grow into a global record. Seeing people from different countries connect with the song and hearing it everywhere was surreal and showed me how powerful music can be.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
My biggest goal is to become the global superstar I know I’m destined to be. I want my music to travel across continents, inspire people, and represent where I come from while pushing the sound of Afrobeats forward.
