“Angelito”
Angelito is about the healing capacity of love. It's in english, spanish and swahili. The 'Malaika' lyric is a nod to a legendary Tanzanian love song, 'Malaika', which means 'Angel' in Swahili.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Writing my upcoming EP 'Kilimanjaro' in my childhood home! Performing on national TV in Tanzania and Kenya! Representing (the musical diversity of) Berlin at Germany's national unity celebrations.
