Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Growing up, I was very shy to sing, so I wouldn’t unless my Mother — the choir director, stood in front directing. One Sunday, I was asked to sing a solo & I remember closing my eyes & letting the music take me away. I never looked back since!

These are three albums that have shaped my artistry more than I ever could have imagined. HAMILTON in particular is super special because I was part of the show on tour & on Broadway. I’m grateful to have such eclectic musical inspirations.

“Affirmation”
In the studio, I decided to place audio of my grandmother’s voice at the end of the song. Two years later, she passed away & now I have her voice on a song of mine. It’s incredibly special to me & a memory I’ll always cherish.
