Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories has to be when I started taking guitar lessons with my dad and brother back in California. We’d all cram into this tiny room at the local music shop learning the basics together. That turned out to be huge for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eagles, Hotel California Kenny Chesney, No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds Growing up as a kid in California, The Beach Boys, Eagles, and Kenny just sounded like home. My Dad used to play them all the time on the way to school, practice, or a road trip. This is the music that raised & shaped me and forever impacted who I am
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Can't Judge a Bar” Man, that's tough, but I'd say "Can’t Judge A Bar." My earlier stuff was pre-Nashville, but I wrote this one after settling in, so it feels like a level-up. Plus, collaborating with such a talented artist like Haley was a game-changer for me
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In Nashville, there’s a legendary spot called The Listening Room Café. Earlier this year, my buddies and I sold it out. It’s a stripped-down vibe - just you, co-writers, and a guitar. Playing for a sold-out, locked in crowd was an unreal experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah, my bucket list is still full! I want to sell out my hometown, collaborate with Kenny Chesney, drop a full record, and get a major artist cut. It’s a long road, and it can be frustrating, but I’m enjoying the ride and taking it one day at a time
