Guitarist and songwriter Devon Allman's playing style is anchored in bluesy roots rock, funk, and R&B. Devon Allman's Honeytribe, founded in 1999, offered hard-edged, psych-tinged blues-rock; the band issued Torch in 2006 and Space Age Blues in 2010. In 2011 Allman joined Royal Southern Brotherhood. Their eponymous debut appeared in 2012 and was followed by four studio albums. Allman's first solo album, Ragged & Dirty, was issued by Ruf in 2014; he followed it with Ride or Die in 2016. In November 2018, he, Duane Betts, and Berry Oakley, Jr. formed the Allman Betts Band, and issued two solid outings in 2019's Down to the River, and 2020's Bless Your Heart. The star-studded solo album Miami Moon appeared in 2024 and was followed by the live Blues Summit in 2025.
