Chi è Dorian
A product of the Spanish underground scene, Barcelona's Dorian are a five-piece act who broke through into the mainstream with a combination of moody electronica and hopeful, brightly shaded indie pop. It took time for two of their most well-known tracks -- 2006's "A cualquier otra parte" and 2009's "La tormenta de arena" -- to become Spanish indie club mainstays, while live appearances in Latin America helped rack up over 200 million streams of both songs. Interest in their earlier work was also sparked by a run of studio albums -- 2013's La velocidad del vacío, 2018's Justicia universal, and 2022's Ritual -- each charting in and around the Spanish Top Ten. Although 2024's Futuros imposibles wasn't as successful, it contained some of the band's most personal material to date. Along the way, Dorian executed meaningful collaborations -- with Zoé, Daniela Spalla, and Rubytates -- consolidating their popularity abroad.
