Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being in the third grade; riding in the car with mom on the way to school, one morning. I wrote a short rap and she was the first person I ever rapped for. Something about me and my dad going fishing. We never actually did. I made that up.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anita Baker, Giving You the Best That I Got Larry June, Spaceships on the Blade The Notorious B.I.G., Life After Death (2014 Remaster) 'Life After Death" because I started listening to it as a kid and it hasn't gotten old yet. 'Spaceships on the Blade' was my introduction to Larry June and its inspired me to chase music. Anita Baker's album was always playing in grandma's Cadillac.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Call On Me” 'Call On Me' was the first single I ever released. I had other music, previously recorded, but this specific track was proof to myself that I could write a great song that's catchy and checks all the right boxes.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I remember when I was recording 'Call on Me' and another engineer walked in the studio, started bobbing his head and said: "This is it, right here!"
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’m just getting started. I excited to start traveling, meeting good people and making great memories. I think having the opportunity to perform at Rolling Loud would be amazing!
