An underrated figure in the early-2000s ādirty southā hip-hop era, rowdy rapper Project Pat has influenced scores of artists over the years.
ā¢ Pat is the older brother of Juicy J, founder of the Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia. Juicy J often invited Pat to contribute verses to Mafia songsāhis most notable feature is his hook on the 2000 single āSippin On Some Syrup.ā
ā¢ In 2001, Pat released his second album, Mista Donāt Play - Everythangs Workinā, which spawned his two biggest solo singles, āChickenheadā and āDonāt Save Her.ā
ā¢ By making himself available to younger artists looking to tap into the rap veteranās throwback Southern sound, Pat successfully positioned his career for an auspicious second act.
