Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Years before artists gained flexibility to create music in their bedrooms, I was painting, editing.. writing. When I moved from my city, the only thing that helped navigate life was poetry, unknowingly becoming my first love. I've been loyal since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Tame Impala, The Slow Rush Travis Scott, ASTROWORLD Each of these albums give me unique perspective on my journey through life. It's very rare when I hear a body of work put me in a world that's hard to come out of. So when it does, I embrace every choice made and inspires me to build worlds myself.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Beyoncé” This track became the foundation of my discography. By the final mix, I saw a potential in my future that's unparalleled to what I could create at the time so naturally, it became a mix between love notes, nostalgia and new beginnings.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Still have vivid memory of performing for the first time. There was no stage or curtain to hide behind. Just a 360 view in an underground studio we reimagined to fit 100 people in so we made it happen. My blood pumped and I've never felt more alive.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? You're seeing the beginning of a list I come back to check off every year now. It'd be a shame to perform in front of millions and miss the opportunity to form a movement behind it. Whatever that looks like... be apart of it or just watch it happen.
