Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing my sister play Robyn from her room when I was 7 and being fascinated by her voice. It was emotive and perfectly imperfect. I believed every word she sang and I remember feeling a deep desire to be able to communicate that way.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? CocoRosie, La Maison de Mon Rêve Fiona Apple, Extraordinary Machine Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE These are three (of the many) albums that shaped me growing up.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lonestar” Lonestar came to me with no pretenses. I wrote it at the beach in one day and never changed any of the original lyrics (which is super rare for me). It is about the deep sense of longing that I think a lot of queer people feel in regards to love.
