Pianist Eric Lu emerged as one of the most promising new players of his instrument in the 2010s, while still in his teens. He earned a series of prestigious competition prizes and was signed to the Warner Classics label. One of Lu's competition performances -- Chopin's 24 Preludes -- was issued on an album.
by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. In 2018, he recorded an album of late works by Mozart, Schubert, and Brahms. Lu released an album of Schubert piano sonatas in 2022.
