Pianist Fanya Lin excels in both Romantic virtuoso repertory and contemporary music. She is active in the U.S. as both a performer and an educator. By the time she earned her doctorate, Lin had racked up a series of prizes, mostly in the western U.S. An enthusiastic chamber music player, she has collaborated with violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley, Romie de Guise-Langlois, and tenor Ta'u Pupu'a. She and Daniel Linder combined to form the Lin-Linder Piano Duo, and she also performs with saxophonist Edward Goodman. In 2023, Lin made her solo debut with the album Rhapsodic: Gershwin, Rachmaninoff, backed by the Lublin Philharmonic of Poland.
