In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents had a room in our apartment in Finland that they called the music room, only because there was an LP-record player in there. I used to go in and listen to Ravel's Bolero on repeat and make up a really dramatic dance that went round round.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Lemonade Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill The Cardigans, Long Gone Before Daylight (Remastered) The Cardigans - there's not one bad song on that album. Beyonce - listened to it over and over with my newborn daughter. Lauryn Hill - I mean, it's a work of art.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lose My Cool” I love this song because it comes from a very real emotion. A crush that was all-consuming where I created this idea of a person in my head that basically kept me up at night. It passed, like things do, but it left me with one of my very best songs.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got a late night phone call from a very important person in the industry. Won't say who but I'll say that it ended with "this call never happened". That was a memorable night for sure.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Not really. Jk. OBVIOUSLY. So much. I want to release my second EP soon and after that an absolutely amazing debut album. I want to play festivals and I want to be supporting act for artists that I look up to. Let's start with those.
